Urban Sejour specializes in the short, mid-term or long term rental of “ready-to-live”, maximum comfort housing.
Short-term rental, often called furnished seasonal rental, corresponds to a stay of a few nights to a few weeks (generally speaking, we call short-term rental any rental that lasts less than a month).
Note that some accommodations cannot be rented for short-term rentals. It is also possible that this restriction does not depend on town planning but that it is a simple decision of the apartment’s owner.
NB: The furnished tourist accommodation is in fact a furnished and equipped self-catering apartment offered for a short period (up to a maximum of 3 months). Even if a 3-month rental can be considered as a mid-term stay, the law has set this duration for furnished seasonal rental.
The city of Lyon is very popular with tourists and more and more people (especially foreigners) come to Lyon for several weeks. Indeed, these tenants prefer to discover the city and the region in a little more depth and therefore they stay several weeks.

How does Urban Sejour handle short-term stays ?
We will propose one or several apartments to you, depending on our apartments’ availabilities, for your short-term stay. Our offer will include :
- A description of the apartment, with its features and equipment.
- A web link to view photos of every room.
- The rent price.
If you chose an apartment for your short-term stay, we will send you by email :
- The apartment’s exact address
- A request for paying the down payment of 15 % of the total rent.
This down payment can be paid by bank card, by clicking on a secured payment link. Upon request, you will also be able to pay it by bank transfer.
Right after the reception of you down payment, our bank will send you a proof of payment.
Within maximum 48 hours, you will receive the contract by email, as well as the payment procedure for the balance of the rent, and the check-in information.
